  • 100 g Brown Sugar Adds sweetness and moisture.
  • 75 g Golden Syrup Essential for traditional flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Optional, adds flavor.

  • up to 100 g Optional Add-ins Dried fruits, nuts, or chocolate chips.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add brown sugar and golden syrup, stirring until dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly. In a mixing bowl, combine oats and salt.
  • Pour the butter mixture over the oats, add vanilla extract, and mix until well combined. Fold in any optional ingredients.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking tray and press down firmly.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
