Instructions
Begin by preparing your ingredients. Dice the chicken breast into small, even pieces. Slice the onion and bell peppers thinly, and shred your cheese.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
Add the sliced onion and bell peppers to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
Reduce heat to low, sprinkle cheese over the mixture, and cover to melt the cheese for about 2-3 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves into the baking dish.
Scoop the chicken and vegetable mixture onto the bottom halves of the slider buns.
Place the top halves of the slider buns over the filled bottoms. Optionally brush with melted butter or olive oil.
Bake the sliders for 10-12 minutes until the buns are warm and slightly golden.
Remove from the oven, cool for a few minutes, then slice apart and serve warm.
Notes
