Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Add the almond extract to the butter-sugar mixture and mix until fully combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, ground almonds, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.
Cover the dough and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
