Cheese

Butter

  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Spread on each side of the bread.

Salt

Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients: bread, cheese, butter, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread a thin layer of butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  • On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer your cheese generously.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of salt and freshly cracked pepper over the cheese layer.
  • Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side facing out.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet.
  • Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
  • Flip the sandwich and cook the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove the sandwich from the skillet and let it rest for a minute.
  • Cut the sandwich diagonally and serve immediately.
