  • 1 pound Ground Sausage Choose your favorite ground sausage.
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 2 cans Crescent Roll Dough Refrigerated.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or mozzarella works well.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley Chopped for garnish.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper For seasoning.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove the sausage from heat and transfer it to a mixing bowl to cool slightly.
  • Add cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and shredded cheese to the bowl with the sausage. Mix until well combined.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  • Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up towards the pointed end.
  • Place the rolled crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops lightly with melted butter if desired.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm, garnished with parsley.

Notes

These crescents are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
