Pasta

  • 12 ounces Fettuccine or Penne Pasta Preferred pasta shape that absorbs the creamy sauce.

Beef

  • 1 pound Beef Strips Thinly sliced beef such as sirloin or flank steak.

Vegetables

  • 1-2 Bell Peppers Chopped into strips, preferably a mix of red and green.
  • 1 Onion Medium-sized, sliced thinly.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced.

Sauce

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Foundation of the creamy sauce.
  • 2 cups Beef Broth Helps create a luscious sauce.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Provolone or mozzarella for creaminess.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Used for sautéing.

Seasonings

  • Salt and Pepper To taste.

Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients at your workspace.
  • In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add 1 pound of thinly sliced beef strips to the pot and sear for about 4-5 minutes until browned.
  • Stir the beef to cook the other side for an additional 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from the pot.
  • Add an additional tablespoon of olive oil if necessary, then add 1 medium sliced onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  • Add 1-2 chopped bell peppers and cook for another 5 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in 3 cloves of minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Return the browned beef to the pot and mix well with the vegetables.
  • Add 12 ounces of pasta and 2 cups of beef broth, stirring to ensure the pasta is submerged.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 12-15 minutes until pasta is cooked al dente.
  • Add 8 ounces of cream cheese and stir until melted and incorporated.
  • Sprinkle in 1 cup of shredded cheese, mixing until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Consider adding mushrooms, making it spicy, or incorporating spinach for variations. Serve with garlic bread or a side salad.
