Instructions
Peel the onions and slice off the top and bottom. Remove the inner layers to create rings.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, jalapeños, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Fill each onion ring with the creamy mixture, packing it tightly.
Set up a dredging station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
Coat each stuffed onion ring in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally roll in breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a frying pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry the onion rings for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with dipping sauce of choice.
Notes
