Instructions
Pat the steak dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper. Let it come to room temperature for 15 minutes.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
Place the steak in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Remove the steak and let it rest while preparing the sauce.
In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and sauté the minced garlic for 30 seconds.
Add the heavy cream and simmer for 3-5 minutes until it thickens.
Return the steak to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
Slice the steak against the grain and serve with the creamy sauce and parsley garnish.
