Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and heat until shimmering.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Place the seasoned chicken breasts into the skillet and sear for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and set aside.
In the same skillet, lower the heat and add heavy cream, stirring continuously for 2-3 minutes.
Add grated parmesan cheese to the cream and stir until melted and smooth.
Pour the creamy sauce over the seared chicken in the baking dish.
In a separate bowl, combine breadcrumbs with more grated parmesan and sprinkle over the chicken.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) and the topping is golden brown.
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before garnishing with chopped parsley and serving.
