  • 4 pieces Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts Each breast should weigh about 6 to 8 ounces.
  • 4-5 cloves Garlic Minced finely.
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated for best results.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For the creamy sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Extra-virgin for sautéing.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Plain or seasoned.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper Freshly cracked.
  • 1 handful Fresh Parsley Chopped for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and heat until shimmering.
  • Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts into the skillet and sear for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, lower the heat and add heavy cream, stirring continuously for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add grated parmesan cheese to the cream and stir until melted and smooth.
  • Pour the creamy sauce over the seared chicken in the baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, combine breadcrumbs with more grated parmesan and sprinkle over the chicken.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) and the topping is golden brown.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before garnishing with chopped parsley and serving.

Notes

For variations, consider adding herbs, using different cheeses, or serving with pasta or rice.
