Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds Chicken breasts About four medium-sized pieces.
  • 4-5 cloves Garlic Mince finely for maximum flavor.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Freshly grated for best results.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream For a rich, creamy sauce.
  • 2 cups Chicken broth Low-sodium preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For sautéing.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning A blend of dried herbs.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1 handful Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare your ingredients by thawing and patting dry the chicken breasts.
  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • Add minced garlic to the pot and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pot to release browned bits.
  • Stir in heavy cream and allow to heat through until slightly thickened.
  • Gradually add Parmesan cheese while stirring until smooth. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Return chicken to the pot, spooning sauce over it. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • Adjust seasoning if needed, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

This dish can be served over pasta, rice, or vegetables. It also freezes well for up to three months.
