  • 1 large Egg Acts as a binder.
  • 0.5 cup Milk Adds moisture.
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped and sautéed.
  • 0.25 cup Parsley Chopped for freshness.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt For seasoning.
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper For seasoning.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For sautéing onions and garlic.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken with the sautéed onion and garlic mixture.
  • Add breadcrumbs to the bowl and mix well.
  • Crack in the egg and pour in the milk. Stir until just combined.
  • Fold in grated parmesan cheese, ensuring it is evenly distributed.
  • Season with salt and black pepper, and add chopped parsley if desired.
  • Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For variations, consider adding vegetables or different cheeses. Serve with mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
