  • 1 pound Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 8 ounces Fresh Mushrooms Preferably cremini or button, cleaned and sliced.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For a rich and velvety sauce.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Mince for flavor.
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped.
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth For moisture and flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For sautéing.

  • to garnish Fresh Parsley Chopped.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare your ingredients: cut chicken, clean and slice mushrooms, chop onion and garlic.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  • Add chopped onion to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, cooking for 5-6 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and stir to combine.
  • Pour in chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately over rice, pasta, or with bread.

Notes

This dish can be customized with various ingredients like spinach or different types of mushrooms.
