Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking Dish
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Wire Rack

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-Purpose Flour Adjust based on humidity.
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar For sweetness and yeast activation.
  • 2 packets Active Dry Yeast About 4 1/2 teaspoons.
  • 1 cup Warm Milk 110°F to activate yeast.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Balances sweetness and strengthens dough.
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Melted for richness.
  • 2 large Eggs For moisture and fat.

Instructions

  • Prepare your ingredients. Measure out the flour, sugar, and salt. In a small bowl, combine warm milk with yeast and a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Create a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs. Stir until the dough begins to come together.
  • Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. If too sticky, add more flour a tablespoon at a time.
  • Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
  • After rising, punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each into a smooth ball.
  • Place the dough balls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for another 30-45 minutes until puffy.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and hollow when tapped.
  • Brush with melted butter after baking and allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
  • Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
