  • 4 medium Sweet Potatoes (about 2 pounds)
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter melted
  • 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup Whole Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into uniform chunks.
  • Place the chopped sweet potatoes in a large pot, cover with water, and add a pinch of salt.
  • Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Drain and mash the sweet potatoes in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add melted butter, brown sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt to the mashed sweet potatoes and mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, combine pecans, flour, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt for the topping.
  • Pour the sweet potato mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle the pecan topping over the sweet potato layer.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the topping is golden brown.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
