Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface and transfer it to a 9-inch pie dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine strawberries and sugar, tossing to coat.
Add flour and lemon juice to the strawberry mixture and stir gently.
Pour the strawberry mixture into the prepared pie crust.
Dot the filling with pieces of butter.
Cover with a lattice crust or a solid crust with slits for steam.
Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes.
Allow the pie to cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for added indulgence.
