Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  • Add the melted butter to the mashed bananas and stir until well combined.
  • Whisk in the granulated sugar and egg until fully incorporated.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the banana mixture, stirring gently.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 60 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  • Slice once cooled and enjoy!
