Pie Crust

  • 1 each Flaky Pie Crust Pre-baked until lightly golden.

Custard Filling

  • 4 large Eggs Fresh large eggs for richness.
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar Sweetens the custard filling.
  • 2 cups Whole Milk Adds creaminess to the filling.
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly Grated Nutmeg Enhances flavor.
  • 1 pinch Salt Balances sweetness.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • Prepare the pie crust and pre-bake it for about 10 minutes until lightly golden.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. Gradually add sugar and whisk until smooth.
  • Slowly pour in the milk while whisking until well combined.
  • Add nutmeg and salt, mixing well.
  • Pour the custard mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45-50 minutes until edges are set and center jiggles slightly.
  • Cool on a wire rack for at least an hour before slicing.
