Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and buttermilk to the creamed mixture, mixing until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

  • Drop rounded balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
