Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Wash and dry the jalapenos, then slice each in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and cheddar cheese until well mixed.
Add garlic powder and onion powder to the cheese mixture and mix well.
Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
Fill each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture, packing it in well.
In a separate bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with olive oil until evenly coated.
Press each filled jalapeno half into the panko breadcrumbs to coat.
Place the coated jalapenos on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until breadcrumbs are golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm with dipping sauces.
Notes
For variations, consider adding smoked paprika or different types of cheese. Serve with ranch or sour cream for dipping.
