Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
Cut cold butter into small cubes and add to the flour mixture. Work the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Add chopped garlic scapes to the mixture and stir gently.
Fold in shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
Slowly pour in milk, stirring until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead gently, and pat into a rectangle about ¾ inch thick.
Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Optionally brush tops with milk or melted butter.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving warm.
