Instructions
 

  • 1. Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the olive oil and let it warm up for a minute.
  • 2. Add the diced onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  • 3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
  • 4. Add the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • 5. Drain excess fat if necessary, then stir in Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  • 6. Add diced tomatoes and beef broth, bringing to a gentle simmer.
  • 7. Add elbow macaroni, ensuring it's submerged in the liquid.
  • 8. Cover and cook according to pasta package instructions, about 8-10 minutes.
  • 9. Once cooked al dente, remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  • 10. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
