Instructions
Start by popping the popcorn using your preferred method. Place the popped popcorn in a large mixing bowl.
Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray.
In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and corn syrup over medium heat. Stir until it boils, then let it boil without stirring for 4-5 minutes until it turns light amber.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda carefully.
Divide popcorn into bowls and pour the candy mixture over each bowl, tossing to coat.
Add food coloring to each bowl and mix until evenly distributed.
Spread the colored popcorn onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
