Instructions
 

  • 1. Prepare the Baking Dish: Line a 9x9-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
  • 2. Make the Chocolate Layer: In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar, heavy cream, and unsalted butter. Stir until it boils, then remove from heat and add chocolate chips.
  • 3. Prepare the Vanilla Custard Layer: In another saucepan, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, milk, cornstarch, and powdered sugar until thickened. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • 4. Add the Chocolate Frosting Layer: Spread chocolate frosting over the vanilla layer once set.
  • 5. Chill and Cut: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, then cut into squares.
  • 6. Serve and Enjoy: Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.
