Instructions
Drain the canned tuna thoroughly and flake it into a mixing bowl.
Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped celery, chopped red onion, lemon juice, garlic powder, and black pepper to the tuna. Mix well.
Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
On the unbuttered side of two slices, spread the tuna mixture and top with shredded cheese. Place the other slices on top, buttered side out.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and toast the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Cover the skillet for the last minute to melt the cheese.
Remove from skillet, cut in half, and serve immediately.
