Instructions

  • 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Stir until well mixed.

  • 3. Add the warm milk mixture to the dry ingredients along with the eggs. Mix until a dough begins to form.
  • 4. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • 5. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  • 6. Prepare the filling by combining the brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a bowl.
  • 7. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle, about 16x12 inches.
  • 8. Spread the softened butter over the rolled-out dough, then sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture, followed by the sliced bananas.
  • 9. Roll the dough into a tight log from one long side and pinch the seams to seal.
  • 10. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
  • 11. Cover the rolls with a kitchen towel and let them rise for an additional 30 minutes.
  • 12. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  • 13. Prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • 14. Allow the rolls to cool for a few minutes before drizzling the glaze over the top. Serve warm.
