Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
2. In a small saucepan, heat the whole milk and melted butter over low heat until just warm. Remove from heat.
3. Add the warm milk mixture to the dry ingredients along with the eggs. Mix until a dough begins to form.
4. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
5. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
6. Prepare the filling by combining the brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a bowl.
7. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle, about 16x12 inches.
8. Spread the softened butter over the rolled-out dough, then sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture, followed by the sliced bananas.
9. Roll the dough into a tight log from one long side and pinch the seams to seal.
10. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
11. Cover the rolls with a kitchen towel and let them rise for an additional 30 minutes.
12. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
13. Prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
14. Allow the rolls to cool for a few minutes before drizzling the glaze over the top. Serve warm.
Notes
These rolls can be frozen unbaked. Bake them directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the baking time.
