Banana Pudding Layer

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Step 4: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then mix in the vanilla and milk.
  • Step 5: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Step 6: Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Step 7: While the cake cools, prepare the tres leches mixture by whisking together the three types of milk.
  • Step 8: Poke holes in the cooled cake and pour the tres leches mixture over it. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Step 9: For the cheesecake layer, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar, bananas, lemon juice, and vanilla.
  • Step 10: Add eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined. Pour over the soaked cake.
  • Step 11: Bake the cheesecake layer at 325°F (160°C) for 30-35 minutes.
  • Step 12: Cool the cheesecake completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  • Step 13: Prepare the pudding layer by heating milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt until thickened.
  • Step 14: Fold in whipped cream and banana slices, then spread over the cheesecake.
  • Step 15: Whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form, then spread over the pudding layer.
  • Step 16: Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
