Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large baking dish, add the cherry tomatoes and peeled garlic cloves. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
Create a well in the center of the tomatoes and place the block of feta cheese there. Drizzle with extra olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until the tomatoes are blistered and the feta is soft.
While baking, cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente.
Remove the baking dish from the oven and mash the feta and tomatoes together to create a creamy sauce.
Drain the pasta and add it to the baking dish. Toss until well coated, adding pasta water if necessary.
Fold in freshly torn basil leaves and serve immediately.
