  • 1 whole Camembert cheese Approximately 250g, look for high-quality French Camembert.

Garlic

  • 2-3 cloves Garlic Fresh garlic cloves, sliced thinly.

Herbs

  • 1-2 sprigs Fresh rosemary Can also use thyme or a mix of favorite herbs.

Sweetener

  • 2 tablespoons Honey Opt for a mild honey.

Spices

  • to taste Freshly cracked black pepper Adds slight heat and complexity.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil Good-quality olive oil enhances richness.

Dippers

  • as needed Crusty bread or crackers Choose a variety for dipping.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Take the Camembert cheese out of its packaging and place it back in its wooden box, or in an oven-safe dish.
  • Score the top of the cheese in a crisscross pattern.
  • Insert the sliced garlic into the scores.
  • Sprinkle the fresh rosemary over the top.
  • Drizzle honey over the top.
  • Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle black pepper across the surface.
  • Bake for about 15-20 minutes until soft and bubbly.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve warm with crusty bread, crackers, and additional dippers.
