Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan.
  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently.
  • Add the granulated sugar to the melted butter and mix until glossy and thick.
  • Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and Baileys Irish Cream until well combined.
  • Sift together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  • If desired, fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let the brownies cool in the pan on a wire rack for 20-30 minutes before dusting with powdered sugar.
  • Cut into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

These brownies can be customized with nuts, mint, or caramel drizzle for added flavor.
