Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan.
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently.
Add the granulated sugar to the melted butter and mix until glossy and thick.
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
Stir in the vanilla extract and Baileys Irish Cream until well combined.
Sift together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
If desired, fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Let the brownies cool in the pan on a wire rack for 20-30 minutes before dusting with powdered sugar.
Cut into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.
