1/2

granulated sugar
Provides sweetness and contributes to the cookie’s texture.
1/2
cup
packed brown sugar
Adds depth of flavor and moisture, resulting in a chewier cookie.
1
large
egg
Acts as a binding agent, helping to hold the cookie dough together.
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
Adds a warm, aromatic flavor that complements the chocolate.
1
cup
semi-sweet chocolate chips
The star ingredient, bringing that beloved chocolatey goodness to every bite.
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture, mixing until well combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Using a cookie scoop, portion out the dough onto parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Transfer the cookie dough portions into the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry the cookies at 320°F (160°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Remove the cookies from the air fryer and allow them to cool on a wire rack.
Notes
Store leftover cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze them in a freezer-safe bag.
